The community includes five residential care homes with 80 assisted living and memory care suites, along with 20 private independent living cottages.
Earlier announcements about the community referenced a 2027 timeline and two levels of care, and the opening was previously scheduled for late August 2026. The current plan is a September 2026 opening for assisted living and memory care, with independent living cottages following in October 2026, and three levels of living, independent living, assisted living, and memory care, at 4750 W Breslin Circle in Coeur d'Alene.
Rather than creating one large, traditional senior living facility, Hemmingson takes a more intimate, residential approach. The community is designed around smaller homes, comfortable shared spaces, familiar surroundings, and opportunities for meaningful connection.
